Business Development Associate / Lead Generation Specialist

Location: Remote (Preference for Spain / EU)

Target Market: USA/EU (Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, SaaS)

Salary: Experience Dependent

My client is an innovative organization providing tailored SaaS solutions for the life sciences and bioinformatics sector. With the CEO personally leading the business development and closing efforts, they are expanding their team to focus on high-quality lead generation and pipeline development.

The Role: My client is seeking a Business Development Associate / Lead Generation Specialist responsible for sourcing, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities — with the goal of getting the CEO in front of high-value prospects.

This is a pure lead generation role — you are not expected to close deals. Success will be measured by your ability to open doors, create connections, and generate a consistent pipeline of meetings

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, research, and prioritize new business opportunities in the USA and EUmarkets.

Conduct personalized outreach through LinkedIn, email campaigns, and direct calls.

Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for the CEO and leadership team.

Craft and tailor messaging that resonates with a life sciences and SaaS audience.

Build and maintain a strong lead pipeline within CRM and outreach systems.

Continuously optimize lead generation tactics based on feedback and performance.

Collaborate closely with the CEO and adapt strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1–2 years of experience in Lead Generation, Business Development, or Sales Development roles (preferably in SaaS or services-based industries).

Commercially minded — focused on finding opportunities and opening conversations.

Knowledge or exposure to Life Sciences, Biology, or Bioinformatics is a plus, but not required.

Familiarity with SaaS products and tailored service solutions within a platform environment.

Excellent outreach, communication, and engagement skills.

Self-motivated and able to work without strict processes or playbooks.

Comfortable operating in a startup environment

USA market knowledge or previous experience targeting US clients strongly preferred.

Based in Spain or elsewhere in the EU (remote/hybridworking, with flexibility)
