You will partner closely with artists, game designers, and AI specialists to drive the creation of engaging, high-quality game visuals, and contribute to shaping how Homa grows from here. Your main responsibilities will include:
Create a wide range of visual assets - including in-game items and pack content, level backgrounds and environments, characters and illustrations, icons, and supporting UI elements to support a rich and engaging player experience
Collaborate closely with game designers to bring gameplay ideas to life visually - translating concepts into compelling art that supports both game feel and clarity
Develop color keys and visual directions for new content - helping define the artistic direction and visual consistency of the game
Contribute creatively to the overall look and feel of the game - bringing strong artistic sensibility and a sharp eye for detail to every asset
Work alongside artists, designers, and AI specialists to refine and elevate assets to a near-final level - leveraging close multidisciplinary collaboration, including cutting-edge AI support, to push asset quality further
This is a great opportunity to take on a highly creative role with a broad scope, from objects and environments to characters and illustrations, while working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
RequirementsWe are looking for someone with proven expertise in 2D game art and the humility, curiosity, ambition, and drive to make an impact fast. You're a great fit if you have:
A strong foundation in perspective, lighting, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling - with the ability to apply strong artistic fundamentals across a variety of asset types
Experience working on or a strong affinity for stylized, cartoonish casual games - with the ability to create appealing, readable, and engaging visuals suited for a broad audience
Excellent drawing skills and artistic sensibility - with a passion for creating engaging game visuals and a sharp eye for detail
High proficiency in Photoshop - with the ability to produce polished, high-quality assets efficiently
The ability to adapt style and deliver a variety of visual assets - from in-game items and environments to characters, illustrations, icons, and supporting UI elements
Strong communication and collaboration skills - with the ability to work effectively with artists, designers, and AI specialists in a multidisciplinary team
Even if you don't check every box in our requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist.
