During the presales process, the
Cybersecurity Solutions Architect
works closely with clients to design, position, and implement secure digital transformation strategies that strengthen cyber resilience and enable business growth. The role combines deep expertise in cybersecurity solutions with a strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure environments to help organizations address evolving security challenges across hybrid IT ecosystems.
The architect collaborates with consulting and technical teams to develop specialized expertise across cybersecurity domains, cloud platforms, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise transformation initiatives. Engagements may span security consulting, systems integration, managed security services, and technology transformation programs.
Cybersecurity Infrastructure & Cloud professionals develop and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions that address today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape. Leveraging cybersecurity frameworks, cloud technologies, and modern infrastructure architectures, consulting professionals design and implement security‑centric solutions that protect enterprise environments, applications, identities, and data across both private and public cloud ecosystems.
In addition, teams support infrastructure transformation and cloud migration initiatives by embedding security‑by‑design principles, governance, compliance, and operational resilience into next-generation business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the design and delivery of cybersecurity‑focused digital transformation and cloud infrastructure solutions.
Design secure enterprise architectures covering network security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, cloud security, SIEM/SOC integrations, and infrastructure hardening.
Develop and deliver strategies and solutions for enterprise infrastructure environments — including servers, databases, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud platforms — ensuring security, scalability, and operational resilience.
Support cloud adoption and modernization initiatives with a strong focus on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risks, define security controls, and align solutions with client business and regulatory needs.
Thoroughly document all aspects of the proposed security and infrastructure solutions, including architectures, risks, dependencies, and operational considerations.
Stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, cloud technologies, and market offerings relevant to client environments.
Adapt existing methods and procedures to develop innovative solutions for moderately complex cybersecurity and infrastructure challenges.
Exercise sound judgment in defining secure technical solutions while escalating and seeking guidance on highly complex or strategic topics when necessary.
Special Skills / Experience Required
Minimum of
5+ years of experience
in
consulting, professional services, cybersecurity architecture, or project delivery experience .
Strong ability to design
secure enterprise architectures
and provide prescriptive guidance across
cybersecurity domains
including network security, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, SIEM/SOC integrations, data protection, cloud security, and infrastructure hardening.
Solid understanding of
cloud and infrastructure technologies
including networking, storage, operating systems, virtualization, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, container platforms, middleware technologies, application integration, in‑memory caching, and hybrid cloud environments.
Serve as a
trusted technical advisor
and liaison between customers, engineering teams, security operations, and support organizations.
Collaborate with
sales and presales teams
to define and execute cybersecurity and cloud solution strategies that support business growth and exceed revenue objectives.
Establish credibility and build strong relationships with customer senior technical and security stakeholders, enabling them to become advocates for secure cloud transformation initiatives.
Capture, develop, and share
cybersecurity and cloud best practices
across internal and external communities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops, lead technical discussions, and conduct client‐facing consulting activities.
Experience
leading customer engagements in consultative roles
involving cybersecurity transformation, infrastructure modernization, or cloud adoption projects.
Ability to operate both
strategically and hands‑on, providing technical leadership while also supporting execution and delivery of project outcomes.
Working knowledge of major cloud platforms including
Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with emphasis on cloud security capabilities and shared responsibility models.
Additional Knowledge Considered Beneficial
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
in a Technical Field.
Cybersecurity frameworks and standards
such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, Zero Trust, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Cloud security architectures
and
secure migration methodologies, including assessment and discovery tools such as Cloudamize.
Reference architecture development
for secure
hybrid and multi‑cloud environments .
AWS, Azure, and GCP architectures
supporting secure web‑based and enterprise applications.
DevSecOps and automation practices
across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
Familiarity with SOC, SIEM, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response concepts.
Experience with
infrastructure and cloud transformation programs
integrating security‑by‑design principles.
