The Project Manager is responsible for the internal coordination and technical execution of projects, ensuring delivery in line with agreed timelines, quality, and technical requirements. This role leads cross-functional teams and collaborates closely with the Customer Account Managers to scope projects based on client requirements and company capabilities, and then coordinates the R&D, quality and production departments for successful project delivery.

Main areas of responsibility and tasks:
Project Planning and Management
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Collaborate closely with R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, and other stakeholders to align process development efforts with organizational goals.
* Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Management
* Collaborate with primary contact (Customer Account Manager) keeping stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and issues.
* Provide technical guidance to project teams. Collaborate closely with R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, and other stakeholders to align process development efforts with organizational goals.
* Ensure that all project deliverables meet technical specifications and quality standards.
* Address and resolve technical issues promptly.
Risk Management
* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Implement contingency plans as needed.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across different processes to ensure all deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards.
* Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and yield.
Reporting and Documentation
* Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
* Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management.

Main requirements:
Education
* Master Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar. PhD battery related topic is a plus
Additional trainings
* Training or certification in Project Management or related fields.
Experience
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and/or product development, preferably in the Automotive or battery cell manufacturing industry.
* Essential to have strong experience in battery cell development (Li-ion batteries or next generation batteries) understanding for automotive and non-automotive applications.
* Prior experience in battery cell design and tests (electrochemical and safety). xhfqzwm

Languages
* Fluent in English;
other European languages are advantageous.
