We are seeking a talented Junior Trade Finance Specialist to join our team!YOUR ROLE AT TALANAre you passionate about finance and eager to grow in a stable, international environment? Talan offers a unique opportunity for junior professionals to join a leading Corporate Banking team specializing in Trade Finance – Bank Guarantees. No prior banking experience is needed, as we provide a 6-month comprehensive training program (theoretical + practical) to prepare you for success.
Join a global operations team and contribute to delivering high-quality services to international clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Process client and partner guarantees in compliance with legal and risk policies.
Perform internal controls and maintain accurate transaction records.
Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Trade Services teams across Europe.
Manage invoicing and ensure correct accounting entries.
Handle payments to correspondent banks.
Monitor daily operations and approvals in Documentary Trade – Middle Office.
Coordinate with Back Office to ensure proper issuance of Letters of Credit.
Align processes with UCP 600 / ISP98 and compliance standards.
Escalate complex cases to management as necessary.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
French (C1 / C2) – required for international communication.
Advanced English – company working language.
Degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related fields.
Attention to detail, initiative, and a strong team spirit.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Based in Madrid and available full-time.
No prior banking experience required—motivation and a desire to learn are key.
