Position overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive sales by acquiring new clients and expanding our market share in Spain and Southern Europe. As a Sales Manager, you will primarily focus on building a pipeline of prospects and winning new clients within the brands & retailers ecosystem.
Position responsibilities
* Research the market continuously to identify trends, monitor competitors, and follow brands & retailers.
* Collaborate with sales & marketing leadership to develop a strategic prospecting plan, building a large and growing pipeline to generate steady sales growth in Spain by acquiring new clients.
* Work with the marketing team to generate leads, participate in business and marketing events, and deliver public presentations when appropriate.
* Establish ongoing communication with prospects to understand their key business challenges and present Openbravo solutions as a tailored response.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure mutual trust, strengthen partnerships, and grow recurring revenue.
* Collaborate with Openbravo Partners to develop prospects and client accounts.
* Work closely with the Presales team throughout the sales cycle to effectively demonstrate Openbravo’s features and products.
* Contribute to growing revenue in the Spanish retail market, represent the sales results in Spain to leadership, and support the sales strategy.
* Manage sales projections and maintain accurate reporting using CRM systems; assist Finance with accounts receivables management.
Requirements
* Over 5 years of experience selling mission-critical software in the Retail sector.
* Proven success in retail and/or restaurant software sales.
* Extensive network of decision-maker contacts in the retail market.
* Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Strong negotiation skills, integrity, and professionalism.
* People-oriented with excellent relationship-building abilities.
* Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
* Availability to travel as needed.
