Media Stack is a performance marketing agency run by CMOs and entrepreneurs with 50+ years of combined experience across creative, media buying, and CRO. We work with ambitious brands and help them win through smart content and sharper strategy.
The Role
We're looking for a creative-minded Video Editor and Social Strategist to join us on a part-time contractor basis - roughly 2 weeks of work per month.
The role splits across two areas:
* Agency social (Media Stack's own TikTok & Instagram) — editing short-form video content that we use to attract inbound leads and run paid ads against
* Client work — supporting content creation and creative strategy for a selection of our clients, primarily ecommerce brands running ads on Meta and TikTok
This isn't a passive editing role. We want someone who can look at a piece of content, tell us why it did or didn't work, and have a point of view on what to test next.
What You'll Be Doing
* Editing short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels (organic and paid)
* Supporting creative strategy — hooks, scripting, formats, testing frameworks
* Contributing to Media Stack's own social content calendar
* Reviewing performance data and feeding insights back into the creative process
* Working with AI tools to improve output quality and speed
What We're Looking For
* +3 years of experience in video editing and/or social content
* A strong portfolio of short-form content — TikTok and/or Meta ads ideally
* Someone who thinks like a strategist, not just an editor
* Comfortable working independently and remotely
* Solid written English
* Familiarity with AI tools (CapCut, Runway, etc.) is a plus
* Experience with UK brands or ecommerce is a bonus, not a dealbreaker
Practical Details
* ~2 weeks of work per month (flexible, async-friendly)

* Budget: up to €1,700/month for the contracted period
