For our client, an established technology consulting company specializing in SAP solutions for the Utilities industry, we are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Consultant to strengthen their team.
With over 10 years of experience and a strong focus on SAP IS-U (Industry Solutions for Utilities), the company offers a dynamic environment where innovation meets deep domain expertise. Their portfolio spans SAP implementation, system upgrades, S/4HANA integration, and end-to-end business consulting for utility providers across Europe. They are a trusted advisor in the Utilities sector, partnering with industry leaders such as SAP, Schneider Electric, ESRI, and Atos. This role focuses on the Billing module, requiring a unique combination of functional expertise and ABAP development skills.

Your Responsibilities:
* Analyze and understand business processes related to Billing within SAP IS-U.
* Customize and configure the SAP IS-U Billing module to meet client-specific requirements.
* Collaborate directly with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and provide functional guidance.
* Create blueprints, functional specifications, and comprehensive project documentation.
* Perform system testing (unit tests, integration tests) and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Develop custom ABAP solutions, enhancements, and extensions to existing Billing functionalities.
* Design and build custom billing forms, invoicing interfaces, and reports.
* Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues related to billing processes.
* Support go-live activities and provide post-implementation support.
Your Profile:
* Several years of professional experience in SAP IS-U with a strong focus on the Billing module.
* Proven dual competency: functional consulting (business process analysis, blueprinting, configuration) combined with technical development skills (ABAP programming).
* Hands-on experience with ABAP development, including custom enhancements, form design, interface development, and debugging.Strong understanding of utility industry processes, particularly meter-to-cash, billing cycles, invoicing, and rate structures.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities is a strong advantage.
* High level of autonomy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
