Responsabilities:
1. IT Infrastructure & Operations
* Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud).
* Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of corporate and laboratory systems.
* Manage corporate networks, secure remote access, and site connectivity.
* Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies to protect research and operational activities.
2. Cybersecurity & Risk Management
* Define and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and technical controls.
* Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and remediation plans.
* Establish and manage incident response procedures and crisis management protocols.
* Protect sensitive scientific data, clinical information, and intellectual property against cyber threats.
3. NIS2 Compliance & ISO 27001 Certification
* Lead compliance initiatives aligned with NIS2 Directive requirements.
* Design, implement, and maintain an ISO 27001-aligned Information Security Management System (ISMS).
* Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and continuous improvement.
* Maintain risk registers, control documentation, and compliance reporting.
4. SOPs, Policies & Process Governance
* Draft, implement, and maintain IT and cybersecurity Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Develop and document processes related to infrastructure, access management, incident response, change management, backup, and vendor governance.
* Ensure alignment of IT procedures with regulatory, quality, and GxP requirements where applicable.
* Promote process standardization, documentation control, and continuous improvement.
* Manage software lifecycle, licensing models, renewals, and compliance with vendor agreements.
* Monitor and control software usage to ensure license optimization and avoid compliance risks.
* Negotiate and manage IT contracts, SLAs, and service agreements with technology providers.
* Maintain accurate software asset inventories and ensure audit readiness.
* Drive cost optimization and standardization of software tools across the organization.
6. Digital Workplace & Laboratory Technology
* Oversee endpoint management (corporate and laboratory devices), ensuring secure configurations and lifecycle management.
* Support regulated and quality-controlled environments (e.g., GxP systems where applicable).
* Ensure secure collaboration tools and data-sharing platforms for research and cross-functional teams.
* Define and execute the long‐term IT and cybersecurity roadmap aligned with business and R&D growth.
* Advise executive leadership on technology risks, investments, and innovation opportunities.
* Manage IT budgets and technology procurement strategy.
* Establish KPIs, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.
8. Business Continuity & Resilience
* Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
* Ensure operational resilience in line with regulatory and sector expectations.
* Drive continuous improvement in security posture and infrastructure maturity.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity roles.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Hybrid IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud environments)
- Enterprise networking and secure remote access
- Endpoint and device management
- Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Cybersecurity frameworks and risk management methodologies
- Experience implementing security controls, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.
- Solid understanding of data protection, intellectual property security, and secure collaboration platforms.
- Proven experience in biotech, pharma, life sciences, or other regulated environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting ISO 27001 certification processes (ISMS implementation and audit readiness).
- Practical experience with NIS2 compliance initiatives and regulatory alignment.
- Experience supporting regulated systems (e.g., GxP environments) is highly desirable.
- Experience managing IT vendors, contracts, SLAs, and software licensing compliance.
- Experience drafting and maintaining IT policies, SOPs, and security procedures.
- Strong understanding of ISMS governance, risk registers, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Ability to align IT processes with regulatory and quality frameworks.
