Business Development and Strategic Partnership Manager

The individual in this role will bring affiliate marketing knowledge, sales experience, customer obsession, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results over time.
The candidate should have good analytical, people, and negotiation skills, with experience in optimizing user acquisition campaigns from the advertiser or publisher side. Prior management and optimization of acquisition campaigns are essential.
Previous experience in Ad Networks, agencies, or publisher websites, managing direct advertisers and advertising campaigns, is preferred.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Lead partner portfolio and account planning using data analytics and insights, collaborating with the account team to develop strategic plans.
2. Build intentional partner relationships to drive new user acquisition.
3. Conduct proactive meetings to develop trusted advisor status, build loyalty, and improve business outcomes.
4. Serve as the point person for daily account management inquiries and performance concerns, maintaining presence and availability to partners.
5. Grow direct relationships and assist in managing daily operations with partners, including reporting, optimization, and portfolio expansion.
6. Utilize relationships to provide seamless account management and quick response to partner requests or escalations.
7. Maintain knowledge of new features, products, and initiatives across the Opera ecosystem.
8. Initially manage smaller partners, helping them grow, and gradually take on larger ones.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience managing and growing direct partnerships.
2. Advanced analytical skills and experience with reporting in Excel.
3. Strong sales and negotiation skills.
4. At least 2 years in sales or customer service, with affiliate marketing or performance advertising experience preferred.
5. Focus on partner experience, with capabilities to meet partner needs and campaign goals.
6. Strong problem-solving and customer-focused solution skills.
7. Passion for technology, software, and advertising.
8. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and build ongoing relationships.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Polish, Italian, or German) are a plus.
