**Role purpose**
To act as a focal point for physical security operations, risk management and audits within the European Region and UK; providing a comprehensive security operations guidance on ground implementation, planning and risk mitigation to ensure continuity of operations, supporting the Technology and Security Office in the delivery of region wide security solutions.
**Key accountabilities**
- Region, Country and Site level assessment of Threats and risk to physical security operations
- Responsible for developing documentation for alignment with physical security policies and standards and delivering a prioritized programme of asset protection resilience and vulnerability assessments
- Investigate security breaches and acts of criminality against the company and prepare the RCA for investigating gaps and institute corrective actions to prevent repeats
- Provide leadership for Physical Security Requirements for expansion/downsizing projects, together with ongoing project support by interfacing with stakeholders
- Support security system enhancement projects for integration with physical security operations
- Be responsible end to end for physical security operations, risk management and audits and maintain risk registers and track them to closure
- Be responsible for budget management for security operations end to end and regularly report as required for status of spend and available budget to run the operations
- Responsible for management of manned guarding operations, reviewing them periodically to be fit for purpose and ensure the actions of security teams align with Physical Security Compliance framework and various other governance standards for both operations and audit compliance and review KPIs and SLAs for the same on monthly basis
- Hold regular meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews alongside Procurement with suppliers for ensuring quality service, continuity of services
- Responsible for settling of vendor invoices, raising purchase requisitions, maintaining a tracker for follow up and be conversant with tools like SAP, ARIBA and Fieldglass for invoicing and SOW management
- Develop & test Incident Management procedures including response to callouts for emergency response
- Responsible for the general Business Continuity audits and in country plans for supporting crisis management activities/incidents. Should be aware about BIA BCP plan documentation
- Responsible for Information Security audits and documentation for ISO 27001 audits for European region
- Responsible for Customer RFP and Vendor Risk management questionnaires and provide responses to stakeholders to support the business objectives
- Management of Manned Guarding Contracts (including KPI´s/SLA´s)
- Maintain regular reporting on key security risks and executing controls to minimize risk to operations
- Liaison with national level functions including Legal, Audit and Risk, HSE, Facilities, Country Leadership and Data Protection Teams
- Develop and maintain liaison and contact with external service providers, law enforcement, government and regulatory bodies in connection with their role
- Be able to operate and multi-task with latest tools and technologies to enhance productivity thereby effectively prioritizing time and work
**Skills & Experience**
- Proven leadership skills with experience on handling big teams both from core and contract perspective and in depth knowledge of physical security operations, risk management, incident management and continuous improvement
- Hold certification for Director of Security as required for Spain
- Have experience of performing professional security reviews and assessments of business operations and internal controls environments
- Experience of managing manned guarding management, invoicing, compliances and various tools for such management
- Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leadership, colleagues, clients and external suppliers
- ISO 27001 audit experience or qualification desirable
- Be familiar with risk assessment methods, tools and techniques
- Have excellent problem solving skills with strong analytical and reasoning skills to ensure a solution and collaborative approach
- Have the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
