OverviewHYTE is retained by a fast-growing, venture-backed electric aviation company to appoint a Project Manager into a critical delivery-focused role.
This position will play a central role in coordinating complex engineering programmes, supporting the development and certification of next-generation electric aircraft.
Working across engineering, certification, operations, and external partners, the Project Manager will ensure programmes are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest safety standards.
The role sits at the heart of a highly innovative environment, supporting the transition of electric aviation from concept through to certified, commercial reality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex development projects within electric aviation, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal engineering, suppliers, and external partners
Support financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and supplier payments
Contribute to business development activities, including supporting sales and commercial initiatives
Participate in fundraising activities, including grant applications and investor-related work
Support administrative and operational activities such as procurement and internal processes
Work closely with technology providers including battery, motor, and energy system partners
Support certification activities, including documentation and compliance processes
Manage requirements, validation, and verification activities across the programme
Oversee change management processes and resolve conflicting requirements across stakeholders
Candidate Profile
Degree-qualified engineer (BEng or Masters)
Formal project management training (PMI, PMBOK or equivalent)
Experience delivering complex engineering or technology programmes
Background in aerospace or other high-reliability environments
Strong experience working across multidisciplinary teams in technical environments
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
Exposure to electric aviation or advanced propulsion systems is advantageous
Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English;

Your responsibility will be to ensure that projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, cost, and quality while coordinating teams across mechanical, electrical, software, and automation disciplines.

Your Responsibilities
You will take ownership of project delivery from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline commitments are met.
You will establish clear project execution plans and reporting structures, managing risks, issues, and changes to maintain project momentum.
You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and collaborate with suppliers to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
You will maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders through structured communication, decision-making, and progress reporting.
You will ensure projects follow CREADIS governance frameworks, including stage-gate processes, Communities of Practice, and ISO-aligned quality assurance practices.
Your Profile
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
You bring approximately 4–7 years of experience managing engineering, technology, or industrial projects. Experience from industries such as Renewable Energy, Industrial Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Defense, or similar technical sectors is considered an advantage.
You are comfortable coordinating stakeholders across disciplines and communicating clearly with customers, suppliers, and technical teams.
You have strong planning and financial management skills and are experienced in managing budgets, forecasts, and project risks.
Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA are an advantage.
Fluent English is required. Additional languages such as Spanish, French, Tamil, or Hindi may be beneficial depending on location.
You are willing to travel internationally when required by projects.
