Your mission You will lead the technical coherence and evolution of a multi-layer platform that combines: Enterprise data platforms MLOps environments Virtualization & infrastructure layers With a clear goal: ensure production stability while driving modernization.
What you will be responsible for Define and lead the database evolution roadmap (from legacy DB2 to Postgre SQL, Mongo DB and emerging platforms) Ensure operational readiness of MLOps platforms, including deployments, observability and integration with cloud environments Drive the transition from VMware to Hyper-V, including lifecycle management and vendor coordination Act as the technical escalation point for critical incidents, migrations and recovery scenarios Lead resilience, backup and disaster recovery strategies Build a unified technical vision across data, ML and infrastructure layers What we are looking for Strong experience in enterprise database environments and migrations Hands-on knowledge of MLOps ecosystems (Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Python, GPU platforms) Solid background in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Arc, HPE environments) Ability to move between classic infrastructure challenges and modern platform engineering Experience in service recovery, DR and high-availability environments A mindset focused on modernization without compromising stability Location & model Barcelona (with flexibility to join from other offices across Spain) Benefits Hybrid and flexible working model Financial benefits through flexible compensation (tax advantages) Access to discounts, banking and insurance advantages Continuous learning and training support Wellbeing programs (mental health, sports, community initiatives) Why this role Because you won't just operate a platform. xpzdshu
