Viking Assistance Group is a leading roadside and travel assistance company in the Nordics. Our new business area, Viking Travel Care provides provides travel
- and medical assistance 24/7 365 days a year for travellers and employees stationed abroad, anywhere in the world.
We are now expanding and will establish our own medical team for medical assistance services. We are looking to recruit Registered Nurses to strengthen our daily medical case handling for Nordic customers.
**Responsibilities**
- Medical screening/triage and escalating complex cases to our contact doctors
- Communication with patients, relatives, clinics and hospitals, including obtaining medical reports
- Assessing medical reports and journals, deciding about coverage as well as medical treatment need and quality
- Medical advice to customers when relevant
Training and support for Assistance Coordinators in medical issues
**Qualifications**
- Holder of an EU-recognized nursing certification and license
- Minimum 3 years clinical working experience as Registered Nurse
- Working experience in the insurance or travel industry is an advantage
- Fluent in one of the languages Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish (both written and spoken)
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken), since our working language is English - in addition to the relevant Nordic language. Spanish is a plus
- Experience from training and coaching colleagues is an advantage
A clean criminal record is a prerequisite

**Working hours**
The position will work in rotation shift day and evening
Since we are a 24/7/365 contact center other working hours may be required at times
