Erhardt Projects is a growing International Project Cargo Logistics Operator, belonging to the Erhardt Group, a solid company with 143 years of history, in full growth. It currently has offices in Bilbao, Madrid, Abu Dhabi, KSA, Turkey and USA from where it provides customized transport solutions with high added value to clients in Europe, Middle East and USA.
We are looking for a DIRECTOR FOR THE BILBAO OFFICE & NORTHERN SPAIN, who will report directly to the General Manager of Spain and he will be responsible for managing the office and its multidisciplinary team, with the goal of driving continued commercial growth and optimizing processes, while ensuring the profitability of each operation and maintaining exceptional standards of quality and service.
Main Responsabilites:
* Providing strategic direction for the office and offering strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
* Conducting market analysis to identify new business opportunities and strengthen our regional presence.
* Developing and expanding the current client portfolio while nurturing long-term relationships.
* Overseeing client engagement and ensuring superior customer experience.
* Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of proposals and awarded operations.
* Negotiating with shipping lines, airlines, carriers, and international agents to secure competitive agreements.
* Managing budgets, KPIs, and business profitability, and preparing reports for executive management.
* Monitoring operational performance to ensure excellence across all functions.
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing processes and workflows.
* Promoting talent development and empowering your team to achieve their full potential.
Our Requirements :
* Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Over 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, specializing in Project Cargo.
* More than 5 years of experience as an Office Director in national and/or international freight forwarding companies specializing in project cargo.
* Proven ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients.
* Skilled at establishing win-win partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation skills with a track record in contract closure.
* Strategic vision and experience in project management.
* Proactive and results-driven professional.
* Expertise in problem-solving and contingency resolution .
* Experienced in leading multicultural and multidisciplinary teams .
* Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
* Advanced proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office tools.
