As Head of Accounting Iberia, you will steer the local finance function to ensure IFRS and local compliance while driving transformation projects. You will lead a €€ team in Spain, oversee closing processes, and manage internal and external audits in alignment with Somfy’s strategic goals. You’ll champion process automation and enhanced financial reporting, partnering with global teams to elevate analytics. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead the local accounting team of 6 in Spain and drive performance
• Oversee monthly, half-yearly, and annual closings with IFRS and local standards
• Manage internal and external audits and statutory consolidation activities
• Drive finance transformation projects including SAP integration and automation initiatives
• Coordinate with accounting, controlling and reporting functions for aligned financial reporting
• Implement and strengthen internal controls and regulatory compliance
• Provide strategic financial insights to the manager and support M&A assessments and integrations
Responsabilidades
• Master’s degree in Finance or related field; advanced degrees preferred
• Professional accounting accreditation xpzdshu (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
• 8+ years in finance with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Languages: Spanish and English (Catalan/Portuguese a plus)
• Experience working with SAP
• Strong knowledge of local/IFRS, taxation, and compliance
