Consequently, we are seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager (Jefe de Obra) to join their expanding team in Málaga, Spain.
In this vital engineering role, you aren’t just monitoring a construction site; instead, you will lead the entire project lifecycle from structural layout to premium final handover. Specifically, you will coordinate top-tier subcontractors and technical teams, directly ensuring that every luxury villa or residential estate matches our client’s rigorous standards of architectural excellence.
Operational Excellence & High-End Asset Delivery
Your primary goal involves supervising, driving, and executing all phases of high-end residential builds, safely protecting project timelines, budgets, and safety criteria. Therefore, you will act as the principal on-site orchestrator between technical designers, corporate suppliers, and field staff. By doing so, you ensure error-free compliance with engineering blueprints, manage financial variations, and deliver breathtaking high-quality spaces to selective international clients.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Site Management: Supervise and manage all technical and operational phases of the residential development, from initial groundwork to luxury turn-key delivery.
* Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Lead, schedule, and organize on-site construction workers, specialized subcontractors, engineering experts, and material suppliers.
* Financial & Timeline Control: Ensure strict compliance with approved build timelines, cost estimates, material budgets, and premium quality performance metrics.
* Technical Compliance: Verify that all construction works are executed exactly according to architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and active municipal regulations.
* HSE & Protocol Enforcement: Implement and rigidly maintain corporate health, safety, and quality standards across the active building zone.
* Incident Resolution: Proactively identify building deviations, resolve complex technical contingencies on-site, and make fast, informed decisions to keep work schedules smooth.
* Stakeholder Relations: Maintain fluid, professional, and transparent communication with final clients, the project management office (Dirección Facultativa), and local regulatory bodies.
Who You Are: The Premium Building Specialist
* The Academic: You hold a University Degree in Building Engineering (Ingeniería de la Edificación), Technical Architecture (Arquitectura Técnica), Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
* Luxury Residential Expert: You bring a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Construction Project Manager (Jefe de Obra), specifically spearheading high-quality, high-budget luxury residential projects.
* Technical Mastery: You possess a deep, practical understanding of modern building techniques, Spanish technical codes, and structural safety management.
* Software Proficient: You demonstrate advanced, hands‑on mastery of essential construction management and budgeting software, specifically Presto, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
* The Leader: You display exceptional leadership talents, proven people management skills, and a natural ability to guide multi-disciplinary building teams.
* Expert Communicator: You exhibit strong commercial negotiation and communication skills, allowing you to align corporate targets across vendors and stakeholders seamlessly.
