We are seeking a Civil Structural Engineer for one of our clients, an engineering company in the oil and gas sector located in Madrid and Bilbao.
Responsibilities include:
* Calculating structures and foundations: resistance, stability, safety, seismic/wind loads, etc.
* Analyzing and designing joints.
* Modeling structures and foundations.
* Conducting economic and technical feasibility studies.
* Performing soil studies.
* Studying different materials: cement, metal, etc.
* Assessing construction methods.
* Overseeing site work and commissioning: inspections, problem detection, implementing improvements, etc.
Requirements:
* Completed technical engineering degree.
* 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience in the oil and gas sector.
* Specialization in structural engineering (metallic and concrete).
* Proficiency in software: Staad Pro, SAP2000, and Idea Statica.
* Intermediate to advanced English skills.
