Compliance Officer - Senior Professional 1

Financial Services is a trusted partner, providing flexible customized financing and insurance solutions to customers, working in close support to the Dealers who provide Group Brands industrial vehicles, buses & coaches.
We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager for TRATON Financial Services in Iberica (Spain and Portugal) for a leading company in a dynamic and challenging context. As Risk and Compliance Manager, you will lead and supervise the local team and ensure the implementation and execution of applicable policies and regulations, with an important focus on enhancing the risk management processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
* Prepare risk management reports for top-level management (Head of Operations, Brand Directors, boards meetings, Regional Directors, Head Office) based on internal reviews and advise the executives on risk mitigation measures and implementation of adequate compliance programs.
* Conduct risk assessment under Traton Financial Services policies and guidelines based on risk tolerance and risk appetite.
* Coordinate with Internal Control Function and risk owners to develop, implement and improve controls.
* Coordinate with Group Internal Audit and external auditors, develop, implement and follow up action plans.
* Regulatory mapping and compliance with applicable internal and external regulations.
* Review internal procedures to identify areas of improvement, ensuring alignment with applicable policies and regulations.
* Organize workshops and training sessions to educate and update employees on the organization’s compliance policies, regulations, and processes.
* Liaise with authorities on compliance affairs.
* Support and assess global and local projects.
* Interact with other departments of the company, e.g., ISEC officer, to coordinate the implementation and follow up of new required processes or products.
Required Qualifications :
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Degree in Finance, Audit, or similar.
* High level of English; desirable Portuguese.
* Desirable in-depth understanding of national and European regulations relevant to our industry.
* Desirable Risk / Compliance certifications.
* Availability to travel.
