AMZL is looking for an area manager with a proven track record of delivering results and project management experience to oversee and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects for our faster-than-same-day operations.
Key job responsibilities
1. Driving innovation to improve processes and reduce costs within our fulfillment and delivery network.
2. Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects aligned with 2025 goals.
3. Gathering and analyzing data to establish global standards and support operational excellence.
4. Identifying and resolving operational barriers by understanding root causes and exploring opportunities.
5. Developing best practices for internal operations.
6. Using analytics to support the future state of the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree completed.
* Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
* English fluency (C1+).
* At least 3 years of experience as a People Manager.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and processes.
* Over 3 years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
* MBA or related advanced degree.
* Previous experience in last mile logistics companies.
