We are currently looking for a Manco Accountant to join the Accounting function of an important international client within the real estate sector. This is a full-time position based in Valencia, working in a highly international environment and supporting Management Companies (Mancos) across Europe.

brKey Responsibilities
brProvide accurate accounting for all transactions based on agreements, invoices, bank statements and tax assessments.
brSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
brPerform balance sheet reconciliations across the full balance sheet.
brConduct impairment analysis and going concern assessments.
brPrepare management and ad-hoc reporting, including statutory financial statements.
brEnsure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements (e.g. VAT filings, annual tax returns, Central Bank reporting, Office of Statistics).
brEnsure intragroup service agreements (recharges) are executed accurately and on time, and that recharged costs are properly reconciled.
brReconcile intercompany and related-party balances.
brLiaise with legal, compliance, treasury and tax teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
brPayroll bookkeeping support.
brRequirements
brMinimum 4–5 years of experience in accounting.
brUniversity degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or a related field.
brFluent English, both written and spoken.
brSolid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
brPrevious involvement in company audits.
brProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
brStrong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
brAdvanced Excel skills.
brStrong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
brAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
brExperience in real estate is a plus.
