Job Description: Sales Account Manager Spain
Reporting to the Sales Director EMEA
The resource can be based in any home office location in Spain (preferably Barcelona or Valencia).
The position of Sales Account Manager will be responsible for creating long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The role involves overseeing a portfolio of Aerosol customers, developing new Valves and Accessories business from existing clients, and actively seeking new sales opportunities in Valves and Accessories. The manager will report sales results to senior executives in Spain and Portugal.
He/She applies our Aerosol strategy within the account by designing and implementing account strategies and planning. Main responsibilities include:
Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
Serving as the primary contact for all customer account management matters
Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Communicating the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Developing new business with existing clients and identifying areas for improvement to meet sales quotas
Forecasting and tracking key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Preparing reports on account status
Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role, with a focus on Valves and Accessories (Aerosol packaging solutions)
Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level
Solid experience with CRM software
Experience delivering client-focused solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish (native) and English
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
No direct reports.
Required interfaces at regional level include Product Line Manager in Marketing, Director of Cluster Spain, R&D, and Operations.
