**Context and challenges of the position**
**Missions of the job**
- The Supply Chain Manager:
- Designs, leads and monitors all industrial Supply Chain Processes like planning, supplying, delivering, performing, optimizing, communicating
- Proposes flow optimizations for supply, onsite and distribution
- Decide and lead implementation of sites production capacity adjustment actions (shifts, subcontracting, manpower)
- Lead supply chain site operations (procurement, planning, distribution and logistic operations) with more than 10 people hierarchically reporting to you as their manager
- Participates in the implementation of transversal corporate and SBU projects (SAP, Supply Chain model)
- Participates in the Budget and BP constructions
- Leads the monthly S&OP; meetings in order to optimize service to different Flow Pilots/product categories
**Responsibilities**
Management of the supply chain team members
- Recruitment and selection of new team members
- You measure team performance through individual regular performance reviews
- You are a true coach for your team members and help them developing
- You ensure the effectiveness of the organization, training, and accountability in maintaining a good social climate
- You develop Team Knowledge and Supply Chain level of the site/team (Lean/Six Sigma) by corresponding trainings
- Management of the supply chain activities
- You manage the effectiveness of the service through recovery, quality, customer satisfaction and inventory measurement indicators
- Take part to the daily/weekly local operation reviews and coordinate the actions/decisions with the supply chain team
- You guarantee compliance with international trade and regulatory rules, European and local regulations
- Ensure the maintenance of the data and guarantee its accuracy in collaboration with HQ support services
- Determine, monitor and improve supply chain KPI’s
- In collaboration with the plant, the SBU and the general Supply Chain department, you define and implement the supply chain strategy: product flows, distribution rules, warehouse positioning and dimensioning, raw material replenishment rules, inventory levels and targets
- You provide analysis and solutions for quality claims
- Your KPI's:
- You are directly responsible for inventory level, transportation budgets, site supply chain costs and customer OTIF
- You are contributing to production cost efficiency
**Qualifications**
HARD SKILLS
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an industrial supply chain manager is required, even in other fields than animal nutrition
- ERP knowledge of SAP/ECC or 4HANA
- Fluently with the use of Power BI
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs, mainly Excel
- Good understanding of business issues and processes
- Energetic, well-organized, self-Initiated and coordination skills
- Change management skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills, possess the ability to build a new team
- Excellent communication skills in **Spanish** and **English** (orally and written)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems

- A Supply Chain degree is preferred
- APICS certification is a plus
