Air and Gas Applications division is a newly created division within Compressor Technique Business Area. The new division is responsible for all product development, sourcing, production, marketing, sales and technical support of on-site gas generation and purification, high- and low-pressure compressors within the business area.
The Business Line Manager Air and Gas Applications is responsible for leading people and resources, as well as managing costs, budgets, profits, and losses for the Atlas Copco branded business lines Gas Generation Applications (AGG), High Pressure Air Applications (OHP), Gas Mobility & Energy Aplications (GPP) and Low Pressure Air Applications (OLP). The Business Line Manager should be ambitious, have a growth oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, and have strong strategic and executional skills.
Mission
To lead and manage the assigned business lines to maximize profitability and growth through effective strategies, resource optimization, and comprehensive management of costs, budgets, and financial results. Coordinate and motivate teams to ensure excellence in the delivery of products or services, maintain solid relationships with clients and stakeholders, and adapt to market dynamics to meet and exceed established business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define and implement strategies and business plans for the assigned product lines, aligned with the company's overall objectives. Includes identifying market opportunities, growth planning, and overseeing strategy execution.
Outcome: Successful strategy implementation resulting in market share growth and meeting annual sales and profitability targets for the business lines.
2. Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the business lines (EBIT), including budget management, cost control, and profit maximization. Prepare financial reports, evaluate results, and make data-driven decisions.
Outcome: Profit margins maintained within target range, effective budget management minimizing deviations, and sustainable profitability.
3. Drive continuous improvement of products or services offered in the business lines, including market research to identify customer needs and implementing feedback-based improvements.
Outcome: Market acceptance evidenced by increased sales and customer satisfaction.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and other relevant stakeholders. Includes contract negotiation, key
