We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to join our team in Madrid at GTD SI&R. This individual will work on an international robotics software project, developing user interfaces for robotics applications and integrating them with their environments (other applications, robotics frameworks, etc.).
Position activities :
As part of the ITER project, which aims to replicate the fusion process of the Sun on Earth via an experimental fusion reactor, you will contribute to one of the most ambitious energy projects in history. Your work will be vital for the control and robotics aspects of the reactor, especially since many reactor areas are accessible only by robots.

Your profile :
* Bachelor / Master's in computing, industrial / electrical engineering, or telecommunications.
* Experience in software design, development, and testing: familiarity with the full lifecycle of software development.
* Proficiency in C programming language is essential.
* Experience in robotics programming: cinematics, interpolation, reference coordinates, robot movements.
* Knowledge of real-time operating systems (Real-Time Linux, VxWorks).
* Strong familiarity with Linux environments and POSIX standards.
* Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and validation testing.
* Proficiency with GIT for version control.
* High level of English (minimum B2).
Nice-to-have :
* Haptic Control experience.
* Experience with Virtual Reality platforms (Unity, RViz, etc.).
* Knowledge of concurrent and multi-core programming.
* Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
* Skills in software architecture design.
