Juniper Group, the European arm of Vela Software (a division of CSI based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain), is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support acquisition activities across Europe. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a leading software acquirer in the industry.

Responsibilities
* Supervise, consolidate, and control financial and administrative aspects of all Juniper Group companies;
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings;
* Review and analyze reports from different business units for consolidation;
* Support internal and external audits;
* Automate processes to improve reporting efficiency;
* Assist in quarterly budgeting and variance analysis;
* Analyze expenses and revenues to identify improvement opportunities;
* Train and support personnel, including newly acquired companies;
Requirements
* Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field;
* Advanced Excel skills;
* Proven experience in a similar role;
* Native Spanish speaker and/or financial fluency in Spanish;
* German language skills (spoken and written) are desirable;
* Leadership and teamwork abilities;
* Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven;
* Proficiency with financial software and IFRS standards;
* Analytical mindset with strong accounting knowledge;
* Proactive with a continuous improvement approach;
* Ability to produce financial and control reports in English.
