Role Purpose
As part of the Quality Assurance team, the Serialization Systems Specialist supports the operational continuity and daily execution of serialization-related activities at both manufacturing site level and international level, collaborating with group affiliates and external partners.
The position combines activities related to quality systems, manufacturing support, industrial equipment, and serialization processes within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
The role is primarily focused on supporting and maintaining site serialization systems (L2/L3) used on packaging lines, ensuring smooth operation of production activities and troubleshooting technical issues in collaboration with Production, QA, Engineering, IT, and external suppliers.
The successful candidate will also progressively develop knowledge of global serialization processes and Level 4 systems (TraceLink) in order to provide backup support when required.
We are looking for a hands-on professional with previous exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality systems, industrial equipment, packaging lines, or regulated environments. Previous experience, specifically in serialization is considered an advantage, but not mandatory.
This role is ideal for someone proactive, technically minded, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Site Serialization Support – Levels 2 & 3 (SeaVision)
* Support the proper operation of serialization systems installed on manufacturing and packaging lines.
* Provide day-to-day technical and operational support in pharmaceutical production environments.
* Participate in maintenance and troubleshooting activities related to serialization equipment, including vision systems, line devices and others.
* Support software configuration, maintenance activities, and validation documentation related to serialization systems.
* Participate in investigations related to deviations, complaints, or incidents involving serialization systems.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to packaging and traceability processes.
Global Serialization Management – Level 4 (TraceLink)
* Support daily activities associated with the TraceLink platform and global serialization operations.
* Collaborate on onboarding activities, master data management (PMD), and issue follow-up.
* Cross-functional coordination with affiliates, customers, and suppliers.
* Learn and progressively develop expertise in Level 4 serialization processes in order to provide backup support when required.
* Support AMS alert monitoring and incident escalation activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
* Technical education or bachelor in Life Sciences, Engineering, IT, Industrial Systems, or related fields are valued, but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with pharmaceutical quality systems, GMP environments, or deviation management is highly valued.
* Experience in Quality Assurance, production support, packaging systems, manufacturing systems, or regulated environments is considered an advantage.
* Previous exposure to serialization, traceability systems, vision systems, or industrial equipment is desirable.
* Basic understanding of industrial software/hardware environments is desirable.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
