Clinical Research Project Manager (Commercial & Contracted Clinical Research (CCCR)), Barcelona
About the Role:
Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is seeking a junior clinical research project manager to join its CCCR Directorate.
The successful candidate will work on the Horizon Europe Widera project GIMM-CARE: BOOSTING CLINICAL RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY. VHIR leads the WP on Training and the PM will provide support to the team involved in the project for an excellent execution of project activities.
The candidate will collaborate with the Commercial & Contracted Clinical Research Directorate of VHIR to facilitate and promote high-quality, innovative, and effective clinical research programs that align with the institute's strategic goals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the GIMM-Care project tasks by collaborating in the design, development, and implementation of new training initiatives such as the Clinical Trials Training Programme addressed to staff working at clinical research platforms.
* Coordinate the design, development, and implementation of new training initiatives including:
o Clinician-Scientist Training Programme to equip healthcare professionals with the skills and tools for conducting translational biomedical research.
o Clinical Trials Training Programme addressed to staff working at clinical research platforms.
* Plan, implement, and monitor the different tasks of the project's clinical trials work package.
* Organize and support the logistics associated with the training activities and courses, including managing communication with participants, lecturers, and other collaborators, managing outputs and feedback of each course, annual revision of courses, and their contents.
* Design and perform a training needs assessment to define target groups and customize educational content.
* Manage relationships - both internal and external - with collaborating organizations in the training activities carried out in the project.
* Organize and coordinate support staff and logistics associated with clinical research activities upon VHIR portfolio and needs.
* Other duties related to the job as requested to contribute to the general functioning of the project and the Commercial & Contracted Clinical Research Directorate.
* Availability to travel is required due to the collaborative nature of the project with a research institute based in Lisbon.
Labor Conditions:
* Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
* Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills, consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
* Contract: Permanent linked to scientific-technical activities (linked to project funding).
