About The Role (Hybrid Position - Marbella, Spain)
We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team.
What You'll Do
* Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models that support business decision-making.
* Create robust DAX measures, relationships, and data transformations to ensure accurate analytics.
* Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into insightful BI solutions.
* Develop ETL processes (Power Query, SQL, or dataflow solutions) to prepare and transform data.
* Optimize existing dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across reporting environments.
* Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Product teams to integrate BI solutions into the broader data ecosystem.
* Support the BI team with documentation, version control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
* 2+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or a similar role.
* Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
* Solid knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
* Experience transforming and preparing data for reporting (ETL/ELT).
* A good understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design.
* Ability to work in Agile teams and collaborate across functions.
* A positive, proactive approach to teamwork and cross-department collaboration, contributing to a supportive and high-performing environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Bonus Skills
* Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, dataflows
* Knowledge of Azure (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse).
* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling).
* Understanding of governance, security, and report lifecycle management.
