Role Description

Purpose of this role is about ensuring that customers' needs are met whilst maximizing the profits of the company. The Marketing Manager defines and implements the marketing strategies for the Swine brands, monitors and analyzes market trends in Swine industry, studies competitors' products and services, explores ways of improving existing product positioning and services, and focuses on increasing profitability as well as identifying target markets and develop strategies to communicate with them in order to maximize demand (sell-out).

Position Responsibilities:

* Holistic responsibility for creating the swine brand plan and brand strategy to maximize the portfolio performance thought the market knowledge, looking for opportunities of growth, through customer segmentation, added value proposals, positioning key messages, price policy, improving packaging, etc.
* Planning, developing, and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns both Digital and Conventional.
* Creating an enduring brand message that results in increased sales, brand loyalty and improving market share.
* Championing the brand internally making sure all stakeholders of the company understand the brand and its goals.
* Working closely with all parts of the company to ensure commercial goals of the brand are met.
* Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with stakeholders (Vets, KOLs, Farmers, Industry Associations, etc).
* Playing a key part in buying, sourcing, and manufacturing of the brands products and ensuring all aspects of the supply chain align with the brand and the company and market needs.
* Developing high quality and effective marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategy.
* Realistic and accurate forecasting of sales and volume for each brand ensuring all parts of the company are geared accordingly.
* Presenting the brand strategy to directors and sales and marketing teams at internal meetings and conferences.
* Managing external agencies and ensuring marketing budgets are met.
* Seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximizing all opportunities for growth.
* Developing strong working relationships with sales and merchandising/promoters’ teams is essential.
* In collaboration with Distribution Director, carries out a regular analysis of forecasting and phasing.
* Assure all documentation related the meetings, congresses, contracts, promotional materials, outsourcing services... accomplish all Compliances requirements.
* Report any possible pharmacovigilance issue detected during post-marketing activities and/or clinical trials.
* Regularly follow up main scientific journals/magazines and report any possible pharmacovigilance issue that might be described.
* Responsible for the correct management of the Zoetis social media of the Business Unit, both if they are managed directly or by third-party suppliers.
* Ensure that the Zoetis social media under responsibility is regularly monitored to ensure that any adverse events for the products marketed by Zoetis are promptly reported

Organizational relationships:

* Report to the Business Unit Dierector Livestock.
* Interacts with : Business Unit Director and Area managers, Technical managers, Supply Planning Managers, Market Logistics, Commercial Operations, Distribution Director, Communication Manager, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and international working group as Cluster and Regional Swine teams, CEO, VRMD and GCD.

Education and Experience:

* Business Studies or another Scientific Degree. Degree in Marketing would be an advantage.
* University Degree in Medicine Veterinary. Postgraduate in marketing would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of the swine industry and key stakeholders.
* Previous experience working as a brand manager ideally within a similar industry.
* You will have hands on commercial experience and be driven and passionate in your approach to marketing.
* Experience of the full marketing mix is essential.
* The ability to communicate and influence internal stakeholders on a 360o basis both up and down the organization is essential.
* Being good with numbers and standard IT tools is essential.
* Languages: proficient in English is a must. Other languages are a plus.

Must be prepared to travel regularly in Spain/ Cluster and Internationally

* Strong communication and cooperation skills: Able to deliver effective presentations, influencer, engages in effective partnerships. Ability to motivate and convince others and teams.
* Good analytical skills and capacity to develop concrete and effective action plans, focuses on priorities and performance results.
