THE ROLE We’re looking for a Technical Artist with a focus on rendering and mobile performance optimization who’s excited by the opportunity to help shape an ambitious startup. You will work closely with art and engineering to implement visuals in Unity, making sure they’re optimized to run smoothly across a wide range of mobile devices. Some of the tech we use: Unity, Photon Quantum, Metaplay, GitHub, AWS, VContainer, Maya, Blender. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Create and maintain efficient materials, shaders, and lighting setups Analyze and optimize performance across iOS and Android Profile and improve rendering pipelines in Unity (URP or custom shaders) Identify performance bottlenecks and propose technical solutions Develop and maintain efficient asset pipelines Defining technical budgets for in-game assets and ensuring builds are optimized YOU HAVE Passion for gaming Excellent communication and collaboration skills Extensive experience with the Unity game engine on mobile platforms Strong knowledge of Unity’s rendering pipeline (URP) Strong understanding of mobile GPU architecture and optimization best practices Proficiency in shader languages (HLSL, Shader Graph) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Strong scripting skills (C#, Python) WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE Experience shipping mobile titles Experience defining mobile rendering budgets for different mobile platforms Interest in evolution of AI in gaming and it can be leveraged in game development
