Key Responsibilities

\n

Analytical Testing &

\n

- Reporting

\n

\n

\n

- Perform and document analyses on development samples, finished products, raw materials, and field samples.

\n

- Interpret results and deliver accurate, timely reports.

\n

- Conduct nutritional analysis for internal R&D; and customer-facing trials.

\n

\n

Method &

\n

- Process Development

\n

\n

\n

- Develop, qualify, and validate new chemical assays to support development, regulatory, quality control, and patent needs.

\n

- Write and update SOPs and quality procedures.

\n

- Collaborate with R&D; to troubleshoot formulations and test new product concepts.

\n

\n

Quality Control

\n

\n

\n

- Conduct routine QC analysis of raw materials and finished goods.

\n

- Support ISO 9001 compliance through instrument verification, documentation, and related testing.

\n

- Perform ongoing and accelerated stability studies.

\n

- Provide technical troubleshooting for manufacturing and production teams.

\n

\n

Laboratory Operations &

\n

- Administration

\n

\n

\n

- Maintain laboratory equipment, perform repairs, and ensure overall operational readiness.

\n

- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.

\n

- Provide training for colleagues on analytical methods, SOPs, and equipment use.

\n

- Maintain inventory, records, and documentation systems.

\n

\n

Cross‑Functional Support

\n

\n

\n

- Act as a study monitor for third‑party laboratories as needed.

\n

- Conduct ad hoc analyses on competitor products, regulatory samples, and other special projects.

\n

- Advise teams on analytical instrumentation requirements and capabilities.

\n

\n

Key Performance Areas

\n

\n

\n

- R&D; Support: Preparation, analysis, method development, troubleshooting, and reporting

\n

- Quality Control: Raw material and finished product testing, manufacturing support, equipment maintenance, stability studies

\n

- Lab Maintenance &

\n
- Administration: Equipment upkeep, SOP management, training, recordkeeping

\n

- Special Analyses: Competitor benchmarking, regulatory analysis, third‑party study oversight

\n

\n

Skills

\n

\n

\n

- Advanced analytical chemistry instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV/VIS, LC-MS/MS, ICP-OES, CHN/S, Particle Size, N-IR etc.)

\n

- Knowledge of OECD, ASTM, CIPAC, EPA study guidelines and methodologies

\n

- Computer applications and proficiency, including MS Office

\n

- Project planning and management

\n

\n

Knowledge/ Experiences

\n

\n

\n

- A Bachelor’s (minimum) in chemical, biological, or physical sciences, or other related area. Master preferred.

\n

- Five or more years working experience with analytical laboratory environment.

\n

- Knowledge of broad range of general analytical equipment and procedures

\n

- Basic maintenance of analytical equipment

\n

- Developing of analytical methods as required

\n

- Accurate calculations and documentations

\n
