What this role can offer youStep into a pivotal role at Remote, contributing to shaping the future of global employment. As a Specialist in our Onboarding Operations team within EOR Operations, you’ll enhance the onboarding journey for our clients’ new employees across the globe. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, agile environment where your insights and dedication to excellence will drive real change. You will report to the Manager, Onboarding Operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Onboarding Journey: Manage the onboarding process for new employees with a focus on compliance and seamless documentation, including verification and preparation of employment packages.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take charge of the entire employee onboarding lifecycle, meeting all operational requirements to ensure a smooth and successful experience, while addressing employee queries throughout the process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Mobility, Benefits, Lifecycle, and Payroll teams to deliver a smooth experience for clients and their employees.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek and implement enhancements to the onboarding experience, anticipating evolving needs.
- Data Management: Maintain employee data with accuracy, security, and confidentiality.
- Support Compliance Initiatives: Contribute to reporting, audits, and data integrity projects to uphold operational excellence.
- Drive Automation: Identify and champion automation opportunities to streamline onboarding processes, boosting efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- Extensive Operations Experience: Background in operational roles with understanding of people operations (experience in employment and legal contracting is key).
- Contract Knowledge: Proficiency in handling employment contracts and similar legally binding documents.
- Adaptability: Able to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional settings, ideally within startups or high-growth companies.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: Collaborative, with strong ownership and the ability to work independently and seek support when needed.
- Communication Skills: Business-level English with strong clarity in documentation and communication; additional languages are a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with collaboration tools for asynchronous work and ability to adapt to new systems.
- Independent and Collaborative: Able to work autonomously within an international, fast-paced, remote team and flexible on hours for general needs.
- Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, Google Workspace or similar.
- Knowledge and Content Management: Experience organizing, maintaining, and updating knowledge resources for accessibility and accuracy.

Compensation and BenefitsRemote’s Total Rewards philosophy ensures fair and unbiased compensation and competitive benefits. Our salary ranges reflect geographic pay differentials as part of a global compensation strategy. The base salary range for this full-time position is $28,200—$71,400 USD and may vary by location, experience, and market demands.
