Role Overview
As the Senior Technical Artist, you will work alongside a skilled team for one of our leading games. This position requires a strong technical background and collaboration across various departments, to ensure optimal game performance and excellent visuals.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement the ‘Unity layer’ linking art and animation with the programmers’ codebase
Construct new game features within Unity, including Unity UI, following internal technical workflow
Write custom C# components for complex visual elements
Optimise new and existing features
Create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Expertise in the Unity engine, especially Unity UI
Experience with different architectural approaches to game development
Ability to write clean, performant C# code
Experience with Git and knowledge of its best practices
Ability to create animations, particle effects and custom shaders
Experience optimising games for smooth performance on various devices
