About the role
It’s an exciting time at TEAM LEWIS. We’re building a team of bold, agile, and inquisitive people to help us keep doing what the competition is unwilling or unable to do. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our team with the role of SEO Manager. This key role sits across our own Global Marketing Team and the UK client base, so an ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including marketing, creative, content, PR, and paid media specialists on integrated campaigns is vital.
You’ll be accountable for the SEO performance of our own website, as well as delivering sustainable organic visibility, traffic, and revenue for our clients.
As an SEO manager with several years’ experience, you’ll plan and deliver forward-thinking strategies, executed to a market-leading quality standard, while providing solid consultancy and problem-solving support.
Responsibilities
* Deliver quality backlinks by identifying and outreaching to potential gaps between us and competitors, making our backlink profiles more competitive.
* Actively participate in outreach and off-page content strategies.
* Ensure natural placements in quality articles that align with our assets and URLs, and conduct regular backlink audits to maintain backlink profile quality.
* Outreach, manage, and cultivate relationships with journalists, industry-relevant publications, bloggers, and website owners.
* Assist with cross-activities involving PR communications.
About you
* A proactive self-starter, capable of planning, prioritizing, and delivering high-quality recommendations, from site speed improvements to complex site migrations.
* Strong expertise in SEO best practices, with a commitment to staying current.
* Experience with integrated campaigns, including content marketing and digital PR.
* Ability to build business cases and forecasts to secure buy-in for SEO initiatives.
* Google Analytics certification and proficiency with SEO tools such as crawlers and link checkers.
* Ability to set KPIs aligned with business success and provide both qualitative and quantitative reports with actionable insights.
* Excellent collaboration skills, able to work with developers within agile workflows and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
* An SEO enthusiast eager to share knowledge within the agency and externally.
* Curious and willing to experiment to help iterate and improve processes and strategies.
