Role

The Product & Business Manager, X‑ray Systems EMEA will be reporting to the Netherlands office. This is a strategic role responsible for driving growth, competitiveness, and product excellence across the entire X‑ray portfolio in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This position sits at the intersection of product management, market intelligence, and business development—balancing deep technical understanding with strong commercial acumen. You will be the regional subject‑matter expert on the X‑ray market, competitors, and customer needs—transforming data and insights into strategies that strengthen our market position and portfolio performance.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Product Management

* Own the full X‑ray product line strategy for EMEA, covering fixed‑room, mobile, retrofit, and specialty systems.
* Align global product deliveries with regional market dynamics, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
* Monitor and analyze competitive landscape to identify differentiation opportunities and inform product development.
* Ensure clear product positioning and differentiation within each segment, emphasizing clinical quality, workflow efficiency, and total cost of ownership advantages.


Business Growth & Market Development

* Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to expand market share and revenue across EMEA.
* Collaborate with sales channels, partners, and NOCs to drive adoption and penetration of X‑ray solutions.
* Build structured market intelligence frameworks and dashboards to guide strategy, forecasting, and development decisions.
* Identify and validate new growth opportunities through segmentation analysis, voice‑of‑customer research, and market modeling.
* Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence sales priorities and product direction.
* Anticipate competitive moves and shape proactive response strategies in coordination with country sales and marketing teams.
* Provide technical and commercial support to partners and direct sales teams.
* Organize product trainings, demonstrations, and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
* Support tender processes and ensure technical documentation meets customer and regulatory standards.
* Work closely with EMEA Marketing to create compelling product messaging and marketing collateral.
* Gather and communicate market trends, customer feedback, and competitor insights to inform strategy.
* Contribute to brand awareness through trade shows, seminars, and digital marketing initiatives.


Cross‑functional Collaboration

* Liaise with Konica Minolta Japan and internal technical teams to align product development with regional needs.
* Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent product information and support infrastructure.
* Support regulatory compliance efforts including EU MDR, ISO 13485, and GDPR.


Qualifications & Experience

* Strong understanding of X‑ray technologies and market dynamics, and healthcare procurement processes.
* 3–7 years of experience in product management, business development, and strategic marketing within medical imaging or healthcare technology, ideally with X‑ray experience.
* Proven track record in launching and scaling products in competitive markets.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related healthcare field.
* Experience with EU MDR, ISO 13485, and GDPR is preferred.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and market insight capabilities.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional initiatives.
* Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, cross‑cultural environment.
* Advanced in French and English both in written and spoken is mandatory.
* Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the EMEA region and to the Netherlands office.
* Having a hands‑on mindset.
