Key Account Manager - Hotels Providers
Summary of the Role
The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Third-Party Suppliers in the Hospitality unit plays a vital role in managing relationships with hotel providers. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing commercial opportunities within the Solutions for Hotel Providers (Aggregators/AVH), as well as managing the overall commercial relationship with newly signed aggregators. The KAM also oversees day-to-day account management, including operational coordination, understanding customer technology landscapes, and building relationships with senior decision-makers.
Main Responsibilities
Account Development
* Align commercial agreements with both customer and Amadeus needs; coordinate go-to-market strategies across merchant and switch business models.
* Lead process reviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of key account operations and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to complete technical and product-related sections of bid responses.
* Document hotel aggregator business needs and work with Sales and Product Management to assess and prioritize them for the product roadmap.
* Stay informed about market dynamics and hotel distribution strategies.
Customer Support
* Support Sales, Account Management, Implementation, and Product teams by providing insights into customer processes and product deliverables.
* Build and maintain effective relationships across all levels within hotel aggregator organizations to enhance collaboration and satisfaction.
Hotel Distribution Expertise and Synergies
* Gain and apply knowledge of hotel products, services, and solutions to identify new business opportunities.
* Provide feedback and recommendations to Hotel Providers, Product Management, and Strategy teams to support the evolution of hotel distribution models.
Requirements:
* University degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in a travel technology company; experience with OTAs, aggregators, or bedbanks is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience collaborating on projects in dynamic or complex environments.
* Proficient in English; additional languages such as Spanish or French are a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Customer-focused, results-oriented, and comfortable working with deadlines.
