As a RISC-V MCU Product Marketing Engineer at Innova IRV Microelectronics, your work happens at the intersection of silicon engineering, embedded software ecosystems and marketing strategy. As part of our team based in Málaga, you ́ll ensure our silicon platforms are positioned clearly, differentiated effectively and adopted by customers and partners. Key Responsibilities
* Define and own RISC-V MCU value proposition across target markets
* Translate technical specs into customer benefits
* Develop competitive positioning vs ARM-based MCUs and other RISC-V vendors
* Segment messaging by application, whether it is low power, real-time, security, AI acceleration...
* Lead technical GTM for new silicon platforms and derivatives
* Produce datasheets, product briefs, application notes, reference designs, benchmark comparisons, demo videos and evaluation board collateral
* Work closely with product management on pricing, SKUs and roadmap alignment
* Position SW stack, including SDKs, HALs, RTOS support, Linux support, if any, and toolchains
* Collaborate with ecosystem partners
* Ensures messaging highlights ease of development, TTM and ecosystem maturity
* Act as a technical evangelist in customer meetings, webinars, conferences and trade shows
* Support key accounts and distributors with technical storytelling, not just specs
* Capture customer feedback on missing peripherals, performance vs. power trade-offs and SW pain points
* Feed insights back into roadmap and feature prioritization
* Train sales and FAE teams on RISC-V differentiation, core architectures and extensions and competitive win / loss drivers
* Build internal tools like battle cards, use case decks and objection-handling guides (ARM vs RISC-V, ecosystem concerns, longevity)
* Track competing MCUs / SoCs (ARM Cortex-M/R/A, other RISC-V vendors)
* CoreMark, Dhrystone, power efficiency benchmarks analysis
* Identify market gaps and emerging opportunities like AI accelerators, security, ultra-low power or safety certifications
* Has the ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams or departments.
* Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic and changing work environments, including managing uncertainty and ambiguity
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
* 5+ years of experience in semiconductors-based product business development.
* Master's degree in electronic, computer, telecoms, embedded systems engineering or other discipline with focus on semiconductor business.
* Strong understanding of MCU / SoC architectures, RISC-V ISA and extensions, peripherals, memory and power management and embedded SW stacks
* Ability to convert deep technical detail into clear, customer-oriented narratives
* Experience supporting B2B technical products or semiconductors
* Comfortable working with sales, FAEs and product management
* Familiarity with the different IoT market verticals and applications where the embedded devices ecosystem plays stronger
* Skilled in semiconductor lifecycle phases, milestones and deliverables, from spec to mass production, including awareness on regulations and industrial standards
* Customer first mindset, translating market needs on product requirements within the go-to-market timeline
Desired Knowledge and Experience
* PhD in electronic, computer, telecoms, embedded systems engineering or other discipline with focus on semiconductor design.
* Experience with evaluation boards and demos, RTOS and Linux ecosystems or safety and security standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, secure boot)
* Public speaking or evangelism experience
* Design wins and pipeline influencing track record
* Adoption of evaluation boards and SDKs
* Successful product launches, on time, on message
* Sales and FAE feedback quality
* Open-source RISC V ecosystem and / or RISC V Foundation contributions
* Customer engagement and ecosystem growth
