Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, foster client relationships, and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include planning, market research, and business development initiatives to expand market presence and achieve financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities in Cell Analysis.
* Act as a hunter for new opportunities based on market research and industry knowledge to position the company as a preferred supplier.
* Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals.
* Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align activities and provide strategic insights.
* Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and deliver presentations on High Content Screening and Imaging technologies.
* Implement go-to-market tactics such as co-marketing, co-selling, and reselling to retain and expand the customer base.
* Drive growth through partnerships, customer categories, and lines of business.
* Analyze financial data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
* Stay updated on industry trends, processes, and the competitive landscape.
* Achieve 100% proficiency in commercial business effectiveness and contribute towards Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
* Maintain 75% product knowledge and pursue continuous learning.
* Conduct training for internal and external teams, perform win-loss analytics, customer segmentation, and SWOT analysis for markets and opportunities.
* Communicate the regional roadmap transparently to regional managers.
* Work independently and collaboratively.
* Proficiently use CRM software (SFDC), Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for daily management.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
* B.E. / B.Tech in Biotechnology, MSc in Life Sciences, preferably with a Ph.D.
* Proven experience of + years with strong understanding of imaging capabilities.
* Preferably experienced in flow cytometry, high content imaging, spectral flow cytometry, cell sorting, and flow antibodies.
