For our international customer in Valencia, we are looking for a ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM) & Data Quality Engineer. The role focuses on ongoing APM data maintenance in ServiceNow (APM/CMDB-related records as applicable), identifying data gaps and inconsistencies, coordinating updates with application/service owners, and tracking technical debt indicators and remediation progress.

Tasks and responsibilities:
* Perform ongoing maintenance of Application Portfolio Management (APM) data within ServiceNow, including application inventory, ownership, lifecycle status, technology attributes, and documented integrations/dependencies, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and currency;
* Identify and remediate data quality issues such as missing or invalid values, duplicate records, and inconsistent classifications through coordination with application owners, service owners, and relevant stakeholders;
* Maintain and enhance portfolio data governance standards and controlled vocabularies, including lifecycle states, business and technical fit assessments, and application criticality classifications;
* Monitor and track technical debt indicators leveraging ServiceNow portfolio data, including lifecycle and obsolescence risks, unsupported technologies, architectural non-conformities, and resilience or operability gaps;
* Maintain a centralized log or aligned ServiceNow records documenting technical debt items, including impacted applications/services, severity and priority ratings, and recommended remediation actions such as retirement, replacement, or modernization;
* Develop and deliver recurring dashboards, reports, and portfolio insights for the onsite Enterprise Architect, including technical debt trends, aging remediation items, progress tracking, and portfolio risk hotspots;
* Translate stakeholder inputs, priorities, and publishing schedules into updates for the APM website and related communication materials;
* Maintain and support the APM website as a central platform for publishing portfolio data, standards, insights, lifecycle guidance, and reference information related to Application Portfolio Management practices;
Profile:
* Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline;
* +8 years of overall experience in Information Technology;
* +3 years of experience supporting Enterprise Architects or working within Enterprise Architecture teams;
* Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically supporting Application Portfolio Management (APM) data, including application and CMDB records, data validation, monitoring, maintenance, and reporting;
* Strong understanding of Application Portfolio Management (APM) principles, including application inventory management, lifecycle governance, business and technical fit assessments, risk and obsolescence analysis, and application rationalization strategies (retire, replace, modernize);
* Proven experience identifying, documenting, and tracking technical debt, including the definition of debt indicators, maintenance of remediation records, and generation of actionable reporting and insights;
* Solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts and practices, including architecture principles, standards, governance, target-state architecture, roadmaps, and architecture deliverables, as well as the role of portfolio data in strategic decision-making;
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with distributed stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and drive timely completion of application and portfolio record updates;
* Previous experience delivering similar ServiceNow APM and technical debt management activities within large or complex enterprise environments is highly preferred;
* Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities, including experience producing dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and trend analysis with a strong focus on data integrity and attention to detail;
* AI literacy, including practical experience using AI and Generative AI tools to enhance productivity in areas such as data analysis, reporting, documentation, and knowledge management, within approved enterprise governance frameworks;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes, prepare executive-ready materials, and communicate findings effectively to Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders;
* Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF and their practical application in enterprise architecture deliverables and governance processes;
* Working knowledge of ServiceNow data model fundamentals relevant to Application Portfolio Management, including CMDB structures, application records, CSDM concepts, and portfolio data governance practices;
* Relevant certifications are considered an advantage, including:
TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification;
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA);
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or relevant ServiceNow implementation certifications related to APM or CMDB;
* Experience with enterprise architecture and portfolio management tooling, including ServiceNow EA Workspace and APM reporting capabilities, is considered a plus;
* Familiarity with responsible AI principles and the secure use of enterprise AI assistants, including prompt hygiene and protection of sensitive information, is considered an advantage;
