OPEX Business Partner Naturals Ingredient – Your future roleAs the OPEX Business Partner Naturals Ingredient, you will be responsible for managing and spreading continuous improvement (CI) know‐how in the respective functions/regions, and building the required CI capabilities through training, coaching and certification.
The OPEX BP supports regional functions and the sites in the region to identify and manage improvement initiatives to deliver business impact and meet targets, and also provides CI maturity visibility through assessments.
You will report to the Head of COE CI once appointed.
Locations: Avignon (France), Sant Celoni (Spain), Caronno Pertusella (Italy), Reysouzze (France).
Business Alignment
Facilitate the design of Global and Regional strategies while ensuring alignment from Global, Regional and Functional to Site strategy. This includes identifying, selecting, prioritizing improvement initiatives and allocating resources & execution timelines.
Facilitate development of the Global and Regional CI roadmap and oversee related tactical and operational plans to meet regional and local objectives.
Set up strategy‐deployment governance in the region and at the sites to ensure execution.
Partner with regional and site leadership to define opportunities to improve.
People Engagement
Establish a positive first contact with all primary stakeholders, and deploy CI awareness workshops to all teams (e.g. CI basics training).
Integrate and encourage best practices in teamwork that complement our core CI methods.
Enable everyone in Givaudan to connect with CI and actively share good practices (e.g. via active communication, newsletter).
Introduce and coach VPMS – Visual Performance Management system, as a universal practice for everyone in the organization to manage day‐to‐day performance.
Capability Building
Based on employees' learning needs, provide CI training inputs to HR.
Develop people by delivering training, coaching and mentoring for all CI methodologies.
Mentor/coach Belts, and manage certification and recognition events.
Understand strategic business and functional policies, and lead multi‐site transformation programmes.
Problem Solving
Coach project teams in applying effective problem‐solving (root‐cause analysis) to develop solutions and initiate change.
Support the team to identify problems that must be solved using the right CI methodology and tools.
Set up a tollgate review governance for site improvement projects.
Performance Management
Set up and support the effective implementation of performance management.
Ensure governance of the performance‐management system at all levels of scope.
Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA)
Train, coach and assess the area of responsibility or site/cluster/function in the CIMA excellence‐maturity journey.
Enable site teams to achieve their roadmap and results through site CIMA implementation.
Process Efficiency
Train, coach and inspire teams to apply relevant CI tools and methodologies for improving end‐to‐end value‐stream processes and asset efficiencies.
Partner with local process owners and regional/global process experts to develop and apply solutions and good practices at site level.
Work Standards
Support process owners on developing and maintaining CI‐relevant work standards.
Enable teams to apply and comply with work standards (e.g. SOPs, OPLs).
Promote good‐practice sharing across sites and within the region.
Business Impact
Lead or support specific business improvement project or programme at Global, Regional or Site level.
Manage the pipeline of improvement projects to deliver impact and track strategic progress at Regional and Site level.
Drive implementation progress of CI projects/programmes, monitoring resource plans and ensuring proper project management, tracking and overall objectives achievement at Global and Regional level.
Report the financial and non‐financial benefits at Global and Regional level.
Your professional profile includes
University degree.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent (required).
10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a global organization, holding various positions.
Good understanding of business processes and functional policies.
Significant experience in application of continuous improvement methodologies and programmes.
Experience in leading multi‐site transformation programmes.
Significant track record of delivered impact.
Excellent command both of oral and written English.
