About the area:
Within Client Solutions, we are executing transformation programs to build BBVA's next-generation retail platforms. We seek a Principal Manager specializing in Insurance to lead the creation of solutions addressing customer needs across BBVA, aiming to offer a differentiated insurance experience and position ourselves as a leader among competitors and new digital players.
The solutions will support product and service offerings across all group countries within our retail technology platform, requiring a high level of commitment.
Job responsibilities:
* Lead large-scale programs or projects with strategic impact
* Design technological strategies for BBVA's insurance platforms
* Coordinate project activities and tasks
* Plan and execute aligned workstreams
* Manage a portfolio of projects, including internal developments and third-party integrations
* Lead technical and functional design meetings
* Guide global development teams
* Ensure KPIs are met
* Support local development teams across countries
* Oversee functional and technical testing
* Lead deployment plans across geographies
* Monitor operational performance during ramp-up
* Manage third-party platform integrations from selection to technical integration
* Develop innovative end-to-end solutions to keep BBVA at the forefront of the insurance industry
Professional experience:
* Extensive functional knowledge and experience in insurance projects
* Proven experience in digital transformation projects
* Experience with third-party platform integration
* Knowledge of three-tier architectures
* Experience in digital channel security
* Experience in developing functionalities for new group channels
* Strong DevOps background
* Expertise in software development lifecycle optimization
* Experience with third-party APIs
* Ability to build and lead talented tech teams
* Knowledge of BBVA Ether / NextGen architecture is a plus
* Over 10 years managing digital transformation projects across multiple countries is preferred
