Scopely is looking for an Outsource Associate Art Director to join our Monopoly Go! team in Sevilla on a hybrid basis.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become one of Scopely’s largest games enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.
What You Will Do
* Identify and evaluate potential outsourcing partners or freelance artists based on project needs and budget.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with art vendors and freelancers.
* Work with the AOS producer to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with terms and deadlines as needed.
* Manage art requests in collaboration with the art producer, including timelines, styles, and deliverables.
* Coordinate the flow of information and materials between internal teams and external artists.
* Develop strategies with production to improve processes and pipelines.
* Manage a team of artists covering 2D, 3D, and animation, working closely with the Art Director to restructure the team if needed.
* Set quality standards and establish benchmarks for external submissions.
* Review and approve artworks, providing constructive feedback to vendors to meet artistic vision.
* Ensure consistency and cohesiveness across all outsourced artworks.
* Plan and forecast outsourcing needs based on project phases and milestones in collaboration with the AOS producer.
* Facilitate effective communication between internal creative leads and external artists.
* Organize regular review sessions and update meetings to ensure project alignment.
* Serve as the primary contact for all outsourcing inquiries and negotiations.
What We’re Looking For
* 8+ years of experience in an art leadership role.
* Strong visual understanding of casual whimsical art styles in games.
* Proven experience in art production or outsource management.
* Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Photoshop and Maya (or other 3D software).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear creative direction and feedback.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with attention to detail under pressure.
* Effective problem-solving skills related to art production and vendor relationships.
Bonus Points
* Experience working with an IP.
* Knowledge of working with Unity.
