Main Functions
1. Provide guests access to all that Barcelonas and Cataluña has to offer.
2. Offer a warm, sincere, and personalized welcome to all guests.
3. Create special conversations with guests to identify personal preferences and record them in each guest's profile history.
4. Have in-depth knowledge of directions, travel times, costs, and various forms of transportation.
5. Maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights.
6. Demonstrate firsthand knowledge of recommendations through thorough research.
7. Be proactive and able to anticipate guests' complete requirements to ensure a successful experience.
8. Inquire about the success or enjoyment of the recommendations made.
9. Maintain a sufficient level of brochures, maps, and handouts.
10. Know how to work with GoConcierge Software.
11. Be knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests.
12. Be aware of all daily events in the hotel.
13. Arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events, and local attractions.
14. Make and confirm dining reservations.
15. Arrange for package delivery and pickup for guests.
16. Provide guests with confirmation cards for dining reservations, transportation, theatre tickets, etc.
17. Communicate all important details to management and colleagues.
18. Maintain a clean, neat, and organized desk.
19. Act as a guide when guests ask for directions and assist them physically to their destinations within the hotel.
20. Provide clear directions for guests traveling outside the hotel.
21. Respond to all guest needs and requests.
22. Perform other activities as deemed appropriate by the Chief Concierge or Director of Rooms.
23. Participate in other projects as assigned by hotel management.
