Alliance Manager - Italy and Iberia

The Alliance Manager for Italy and Iberia is a senior role responsible for our top strategic Global & European partners. The role focuses on generating new business within the region, working closely with the regional RVP, sales team, management, and other Alliance Managers across Europe. The primary focus is on new license sales from Flexera’s Enterprise Solutions (mainly ITAM solutions, IT Visibility, and Cloud Cost), along with driving business development and service delivery strategies for selected partners.

This position is quota-carrying, with success measured by revenue. All leads and opportunities from partner activities are tracked, and commissions are paid on closed business. The role includes eligibility for the annual President’s Club trip.


Responsibilities

1. Develop new relationships with large System Integrators, Consulting Partners, and SAM Service Partners.
2. Identify and develop key account alliances and programs to generate sales opportunities.
3. Build detailed strategic plans with partner executives to drive engagement, develop partner skills and certifications, and execute joint marketing activities.
4. Recruit, develop, and manage strategic partner alliances, ensuring retention, growth, and customer success.
5. Evaluate program trends, provide analysis and recommendations to management.
6. Work toward mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to promote the benefits of the alliance.
7. Provide financial analyses, long-term forecasts, and studies related to potential alliances.
8. Monitor competitor activity and implement strategies to maintain account ownership.
9. Drive joint selling and marketing programs.
10. Manage partner enablement initiatives, including training, implementation, and certification.
11. Track partner opportunities in Salesforce CRM, maintaining an understanding of pipeline and revenue forecasts.
12. Create structured business plans to focus on business objectives.
13. Convey market trends and product feedback to Product Management for product improvements.


Required Skills & Experience

* Fluent in Spanish and Italian; good knowledge of English.
* Extensive experience in Sales, Alliances, or both within enterprise software or consulting companies.
* Existing partner network in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
* Experience in strategy development at senior management levels (VP/C-level).
* Proven leadership in creating and managing partner communities.
* Solution sales methodology expertise.
* Knowledge of high-value technologies: virtualization, cloud, asset management, ITSM, migration, security.
* Ability to develop and support business initiatives.
* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
* Willingness to travel at least 30%.
