Tasks
The eCommerce Front-end Developer (AB Testing, EV Squad) is responsible for delivering front-end solutions in alignment with technical and branding guidelines, especially (but not exclusively) in the domain of front-end personalization and AB Testing. The role involves consistently enforcing these guidelines, supporting other developers, and occasionally leading the implementation of innovative digital experiences aligned with strategy and brand/market needs.
The area of action will additionally extend to :
* Manage front-end content development needs from the business, leveraging web development frameworks and best practices to deliver high-performing experiences.
* Understand front-end content development needs from the business, leveraging web development frameworks, UX & UI intuition, and best practices to deliver high-quality experiences.
* Execute the global campaign & content roadmap while embracing Commercial, Communications & Brand values.
* Raise awareness on innovative web technologies within and beyond the Global eCommerce Community (GECO).
Requirements
* At least 6 years’ experience in eBusiness, eCommerce, and/or Digital Agencies.
* Strong UX/UI technical background.
* Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
* Experience liaising with external digital agencies.
* Fluent Mac user (as a software developer).
* Strong HTML5 expertise, including semantic HTML, Web Components, SEO, etc.
* Familiarity with TypeScript, with previous experience required.
* Proficiency in CSS3 foundations: properties, behaviors, SASS/SCSS, mixins, etc.
* Experience with front-end personalization techniques and technologies.
* Knowledge of mobile-first and responsive web design, ITCSS principles, and accessibility standards (WCAG, screen readers, etc.).
* Understanding of analytics concepts and best practices (tracking plans, etc.).
* Knowledge of User Experience / Usability concepts and best practices.
* Accuracy, reliability, and vigilant attention to detail.
* Team-player attitude.
* Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket (Git).
* Fluent in English (Written & Spoken).
* Proven track record in delivering commercially oriented digital experiences.
* Customer-service oriented mentality.
* Data-driven approach.
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
* Knowledge of web, technology, and digital innovation trends.
* Basic Photoshop skills: exporting media, cropping, resizing, optimization, etc.
* Experience with Google Optimize / Google Tag Manager.
* Experience with Cypress.
* Familiarity with Figma.
* Experience with Google Analytics for reporting and analysis (no development skills needed).
* Experience with Adobe Target or similar tools; familiarity with Chromatic.
* Understanding of CI and test automation setups.
* Experience with Akamai CDN / NetStorage.
* Experience delivering high-end and luxury digital experiences.
