POSITION PURPOSE
Be in charge together with the Restaurants and Bar Manager to development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. Direct report to the Restaurants & Bar Manager.
FUNCIONES ESENCIALES
To lead the team with a strong hands-on operational focus.
Supervising daily F&B shift operation.
Ensuring compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures, and develop then if necessary.
Assisting the Management, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and coaching employees.
Collaborate with F&B administrative procedures.
Focus on financial objectives, plan actions and events in the department, oversee purchasing and control costs.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
To deputize for the Restaurant & Bar Manager in his absence if required
To advise the F&B manager of guest comments or complaints and to initiate a response
To project a positive and professional image to all contacts at all times
Maintain open communication with other departments and throughout the property to handle special request, promoting guest satisfaction.

Requirements:
High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Certification in Restaurant Management.
1 – 2 years previous experience in supervisor position in 4-5* Hotel.
Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand Spanish & English, German will be a plus.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to supervise subordinate staff, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.
Sales oriented in order to drive additional revenues
High level of computer skkills
