Role Overview
The Engineering Project Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring the costs of Projects D&D. Reporting to the Engineering Controlling Manager and functionally to the Engineering Project Director.
What You Will Do
1. Drive the setup of the annual budget for D&D costs, ensuring compliance with project commitments, and monitor follow-up (plan, budget, forecast). Address deviations and ensure invoice follow-up for upfront projects.
2. Coordinate with PMO and Cost Control on RFQ information or cost modification sheets for new or modified projects.
3. Establish risk & opportunities, forecasts, and analyze actual vs. budget and multi-year actuals vs. Engineering ET commitments. Authorize spending aligned with budget objectives.
4. As CPO co-pilot, contribute to optimizing the economic performance of Engineering by providing reliable economic data, relevant analysis, and supporting operational managers with action plans.
5. Ensure internal control implementation and periodic assessments, maintaining the integrity and completeness of economic information and ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role within the industrial (manufacturing), preferably automotive, sector.
* Experience managing multinational and global flow environments.
* Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in engineering projects with an economic perspective.
