TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF CARTAGENA announces a certification for hiring technical support personnel for R&D&I activities, Group I, in research, design, and development of IoT devices (hardware and firmware), and traceability tools for monitoring and tracking the shelf life of food. Position Title : Hardware Development Engineer and Food Traceability.
Professional Category : GROUP I. Higher Education Qualification (Bachelor's Degree, Engineer, Architect, or equivalent).
Required Qualification : Industrial Engineer and Master's Degree in Electronic and Instrumentation Systems.
Other Requirements : Technical Industrial Engineering, specializing in electronics industrial and automatic.
Weekly Dedication : Full time (35 hours / week).
Working Hours : Monday to Friday from 09 : 00 to 14 : 00 and Monday to Thursday from 16 : 00 to 18 : 30.
Gross Annual Salary : €29,611.82.
Project Title : Association for Mediterranean Research and Innovation.
Duration : Contract duration linked to research line budget availability.

Tasks :
* Design and develop hardware components for the European project FUSION.
* Integrate preservation technologies into FUSION storage chambers.
* Develop FUSION traceability and continuous improvement tools.
Workplace : R&D IT Laboratory 2, Old Building.

* Academic Training (20%)
* Specific Training (20%) in R / Github, 3D modeling, machine learning, digital skills
* Professional Experience (20%) in IoT, environmental monitoring, communication infrastructure, data visualization
