About the Project Engineer role
Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Project Engineer organizes and coordinates the review of submittals and the RFI process. Additionally, the PE will assist the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager with daily tasks such as participating in Owner, Design, and staff meetings, and monitoring the process with subcontractors/design team to ensure the timely approval of construction materials. The Project Engineer will also facilitate the review of materials delivered to the site and interface with the Superintendent during field walks to develop skills to become a Builder.
Requirements
* A bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other relevant fields.
* Construction internship or related construction work experience is preferred.
* General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
* Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.
* Experience with BIM and LEED is beneficial.
